The ChIP1000 with its piezoelectric solvent delivery systems is able to deliver picoliter volumes of reagents to defined locations on different surfaces. It is equipped with an on board scanning device, which allows to image the area of interest and to select easily the right print location. Also the import of an image as well as of coordinates obtained by image analysis with Nonlinear software tools can be carried out. The user friendly ChIP software makes it possible to set up customized printing methods in minutes, which can then be applied to this locations. Thanks to its accuracy also repeated printing of different solvents to the same location can be realized in a highly reproducible way. Therefore, print patterns with a very high resolution can be easily obtained by printing nano litre volumes in multiple iterations.
The coordinates of the print locations can be exported to our AXIMA MALDI systems for further analysis depending of the application.
Thanks to its unique design, the ChIP 1000 is the perfect tool for nano scale printing for a large variety of different applications. In some laboratories the little volume needed allows to safe money and time (nano Western) in others its unique features simply opening new horizons for micro-scale research.
