Shimadzu is a world-leading manufacturer of analytical instrumentation. Shimadzu develops and manufactures innovative products for laboratories in industry, science and governmental institutions.

With our customer-oriented strategy and our high-quality service, we strive to be Europe's market leader.

Our product lines include analytical systems for chromatography (HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS), spectroscopy (UV/VIS, FTIR, AAS) and environmental analysis (TOC). Our new division, Shimadzu Biotech, is aimed at the emerging Life Sciences and High Throughput Screening markets, and already supports preparative and analytical LCMS as well as MALDI-TOF systems.

Our technology is aimed at customer needs, serves the well-being of people and is in accordance with ethical values, environment and nature.

The goal of our activities is to reach absolute customer satisfaction through the quality of our products. Shimadzu has organically grown as a company since 1875 and its technical know-how is based on a rich historic development and a worldwide network, which is a strong advantage for each of our customers. Our offices in 76 countries with a total of 9670 employees guarantee that we are within close reach of our customers. In Germany for instance, Shimadzu serves its customers through 6 technical offices and service support centres.
